Refund Policy

We want you to feel confident when you upgrade to a paid plan on Ratio. This policy sets out the circumstances under which refunds are available and how to request one.
1. Self-serve plans (Basic and Premium)
- 7-day, no-questions-asked refund on any Basic or Premium plan purchase. Email us within 7 calendar days of payment and we will refund the full amount, regardless of how much content you have accessed.
- After day 7, refunds are case-by-case at our discretion. Where granted, they are calculated proportionally based on time remaining on the plan.
- The 7-day window is measured from the date of payment confirmation, not from first sign-in.
2. Free trial
- Every new account includes a 7-day Basic trial. No payment is taken during the trial, so no refund is needed if you choose not to continue — your access simply rolls back to the Free plan.
3. Live mock-solving sessions (Premium)
- Live sessions are part of the Premium plan and are not sold or refunded individually. If you cancel a Premium plan within the 7-day refund window, you receive a full refund regardless of whether you attended any sessions.
4. Legacy programme purchases
- CLAT Complete programme: Full refund within 7 days of purchase, provided you have not accessed more than 10% of course content.
- CLAT Crash Course: Full refund within 3 days of purchase, provided you have not accessed more than 10% of course content.
5. Non-refundable items
- Plans where the 7-day window has elapsed (subject to clause 1 above).
- Discount-coded purchases are refundable on the same terms; the refund is for the discounted amount actually paid.
- Comp tiers granted by an administrator (scholarships, goodwill) are not refundable as no payment was made.
6. No auto-renewal
Ratio plans are one-time passes, not recurring subscriptions. Your card is charged once at checkout and never again. When your plan ends you simply roll back to the Free plan until you choose to renew.
7. How to request a refund
- Email clat@iura.in with your registered email address, the plan you purchased, and your Razorpay payment ID (visible in the receipt email and on your Account → Billing History page).
- No reason required for refunds inside the 7-day window. For later requests, a brief explanation helps us decide quickly.
8. Refund processing
- Approved refunds are processed within 7–10 business days.
- Refunds are credited back to the original payment method via Razorpay. UPI typically settles within 24 hours; cards take 5–7 business days.
- On approval, your access is rolled back: if the refunded payment was your most recent, your tier expiry is walked back by the duration of that plan; older payments still on file continue to cover you.
- You will receive an email confirmation once the refund is initiated.
9. Disputes
If you disagree with a refund decision, email clat@iura.in with additional details. We aim to resolve disputes within 15 business days.
