Terms of Service
Last updated: 10 May 2026
1. Acceptance of Terms
By creating an account or using Ratio, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use of the platform immediately. These terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and Bahali Investment Group LLP.
2. Services
Ratio provides online CLAT coaching including study material, practice questions, mock tests, sectional tests, previous-year papers, current affairs, flashcards, performance analytics, and (on the Premium plan) weekend live mock-solving sessions. The scope and availability of specific features may change as we develop the platform.
3. Account, Enrolment and Access
- Plans are sold as one-time passes for a fixed duration (6 or 12 months). They are not recurring subscriptions and your card is never auto-charged after the initial payment.
- Every new account includes a 7-day Basic trial. After the trial ends, your access automatically rolls back to the Free plan unless you have purchased a paid plan.
- Access begins upon successful payment confirmation and continues for the duration of the plan you bought (e.g., 180 days for a 6-month plan).
- When you renew an active plan, the new duration stacks on top of the time already remaining.
- Each account is for individual use only. Sharing credentials, transferring access, or reselling content is prohibited and grounds for termination without refund.
4. Payments
- All payments are processed securely through Razorpay. We do not store card or UPI details on our servers.
- Prices are listed in Indian Rupees (INR) and are inclusive of applicable taxes at the rate in force on the date of payment.
- No automatic renewal. When your plan ends, your access reverts to the Free plan. Continuing to use paid features requires you to purchase a new plan.
- Ratio reserves the right to modify pricing with reasonable notice; changes do not affect plans already purchased.
4A. Discount and Promotional Codes
- Discount codes are non-transferable and may be limited in validity period, total uses, or applicable plans. Each code's specific limits are enforced at checkout.
- Codes cannot be combined with other codes or applied retrospectively to past purchases.
- Refunds on discount-coded purchases are calculated on the discounted amount actually paid, not the list price.
4B. Live Sessions (Premium plan)
- Live mock-solving sessions are offered to Premium-tier users on an RSVP basis with limited capacity per session.
- Seats are allocated on a first-come, first-served basis. Once capacity is reached, additional RSVPs join a waitlist; if a seat opens before the session starts, the first waitlisted user is automatically promoted.
- The session join link is made available on the session page 15 minutes before the scheduled start time and remains accessible until the session ends.
- Recordings, where made available, are at our discretion and not guaranteed for every session.
5. Intellectual Property
- All content on Ratio — including text, questions, mock tests, analytics tools, design, and code — is the intellectual property of Bahali Investment Group LLP.
- You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access content for personal educational use.
- You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or commercially exploit any content without written permission.
6. Prohibited Conduct
- Sharing account credentials.
- Scraping, copying, or redistributing content.
- Using automated tools to access the platform.
- Attempting to reverse-engineer mock test algorithms or question banks.
- Harassment of other students or staff.
7. Limitation of Liability
- Ratio provides educational content and preparation tools; we do not guarantee admission to any NLU.
- Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the relevant programme.
- We are not liable for interruptions caused by factors beyond our reasonable control.
8. Dispute Resolution
- Disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
- The seat of arbitration shall be India.
- The language of arbitration shall be English.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of India.
10. Modifications
Ratio may update these terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the platform. Continued use of Ratio after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised terms.
